What is the difference between a paintball gun and an airsoft/ BB gun?

In fastidious, this requires more care, more care and more security? I tried to convince my parents let me in airsoft / BB Gun club called Exhausted-Tress.Auch it would be helpful if you answer this discretionary question. (Required only for parents) Would your children Airsoft / Paintball flush with adult supervision, proper conduct of the BB gun training, conferences and flush with the BB gun laws aptly?

    Personally I reckon airsoft is better. First off the guns are realsitic looking and that is cool. Second you can shoot in your backyard without being compensated paint all over the place. Third its simpler to get into the paintball. There you go.

    Both demand the exact same quantity of supervision, care & safety.

    I have allowed my daughter, when she was 10 (officially authorized age to play), to play paintball. I clarified the safety precautions – the importance of always wearing a mask on the field & nearly guns without barrel blocking devices, always “sock up” the barrel when not on the field (barrel cover), and always look where you’re shooting. Even as she never really developed a liking for paintball, she understood & followed the safety protocols. I would also allow her to play airsoft if she wanted, as long as safety measures were always being enforced by her and all nearly her.

    Ultimately, no quantity of information or persuasion from us internet strangers could sway your parents’ choice. They’ll still do what they feel is best for you until you’ve legally become competent to care for yourself. But also keep in mind that they’re choice may not be based solely on the safety of airsoft itself – they are most liable also apprehensive with this club, Exhausted-Tress. You would have to clarify the purpose & intentions of the club, and prove that the other members of the club are responsible as well.

    Airsoft guns and paintball guns are extremely different.

    An airsoft gun is much more realistic, fires a 6 millimeter, .2 gram fake BB at somewhere from 200-500 feet per second, 350 being average. Airsoft guns are spring powered, electric (AEG’s), and some gas powered, mostly handguns. For example, a BB fired at the body at 300 FPS will leave a welt on uncovered skin at best. The worst that could take place is a chipped tooth or worse, going blind. This is why proper eye protection must be exercised at all times. Regular shooting glasses should be sufficient.

    Now, the conundrum of airsoft is often why many people play: realism. If you pace down the road with an airsoft handgun, you can get shot by the police, as they do not know if ot is fake or not (it’s happened). If you keep the orange tip on and don’t go in public with it, there’s no conundrum.

    Paintball guns, in my mind, demand much more care. As a replacement for of 6mm fake BB’s, they shoot .58 caliber rubber balls filled with paint (paintballs). The paintballs burst open upon impact, and as a result cannot be fired in an area such as a suburban backyard. I’m no practiced at paintball, but I can say airsoft prices>paintball prices.

    For the record, you must be 18 or grown-up to buy an airsoft gun. If you are under 18, and if you have an adult with you, most stores will allow buy.

    Airsoft shoots small fake pellets, paintball shoots larger balls full of paint. airsoft is much cheaper but not as fun. The bullets of either gun dont hurt, you should keep the feet per seccond(fps) under 400, at 330-350 up close it will puncture skin. Both games are impeccably safe, and parents should let there kids play, as long as you wear head protection. Paintball is better for wars nearly your household because it doesnt leave small pellets that never biodegrade in your yard.

    First of all either your using an AIRSOFT GUN or a BB GUN. The only thing they have in ordinary is the affect of projectile. Make it clear that an airsoft gun is in no way related to a BB gun. BB guns are for target shooting and light hunting. Airsoft was made for military and police training.

    On to your question… Paintball is nearly always more pricey unless you are sponsored. The dangers of paintball and airsoft are nearly identical if your playing in a enclosed or designated area. In either sport most injuries and accidents are from graceful or falling etc on the field when playing like most sports, the injuries that scare parents are from people who do not follow the safety rules and end up being compensated shot in the face/eyes. Ive been shot in the eye with a cheap airsoft gun by someone who did not follow the proper safety rules and i got lucky and didnt suffer any vision hurt.
    HERE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF PLAYING AIRSOFT.
    If your going to play make sure its in either a known airsoft field or paintball field where people know what you are doing. Playing either diversion in backyards and parks etc is a fantastic way to have cops called on you which can end with your guns confiscated or some sort of criminal charge because police treat replica airsoft guns as real weapons.

    I could probably better help you if you clarified what your local airsoft conveniences and groups are using as it varies greatly from area to area.

    well airsoft has plactic bbs. Paintball hurts alot and leaves paint everywhere airsoft is alot better try that

    if your trying to convince parents i would go for the airsoft notice airSOFT (not that its really extremely soft but it beats being compensated hit with a PB) anyway i am about 15 and how i did it is i said “u guys are really nice and for me Bday can i buy my own bestow?” mom:”what is it?” me:”airSOFT gun?” mom:”ok” and if they do know about guns start out with a lower powered one say lower 200-230 fps anyway thats my information hope u get it!

    Paintball will probably be simpler to to convince your parents to let you play since you can go to a commercial field where new players learn how to play all the time. You will get safety instruction, have proper supervision, and any legitimate field with have an insurance plot that will cover you in the case of injury.

    Also, you can shoot paintball guns in your back yard. They really don’t make that huge of a mess, and the paint is biodegradable.

    From the sounds of it though you want to join the airsoft club so I would work on convincing your parents to let you join that.

    a gun is a gun. we were trained as if these airsoft guns were real. so if you would let your children obtain/own guns. at that time you have to lecture them how to soubriquet and respect these guns as any other gun.

    lecture your child’s group to do the same. or all else for that topic.

    i have so much respect for a gun, flush though it is just classified as a toy. no topic if it is a distinguished power or low power gun.
    why would you treat a gun as a toy anyway?
